A: Hello,
The CL breakers are classified breakers. They are manufactured and UL listed for use in competitor loadcenters (Square D HOMELINE, GE, Crouse-Hinds, Thomas&Betts, Murray, and ITE/Siemens). Eaton BR breakers are UL listed for use in our BR loadcenters only.

A: Hello, CL250 is UL listed to go into competitor loadcenters. It will not work in Eaton loadcenters. Regards, Eaton.

A: Not really, try looking for a BR 250 for a BR series loadcenter or a CH250 for a CH series loadcenter, both labelled as Eaton/Cutler-Hammer.

A: This circuit breaker is two-pole rated 120/240V. You run your two hot wires to the circuit breaker, and run the neutral back to the neutral bar in the loadcenter. A: There are not positive and/or negative poles with AC power. This breaker is not approved for use on DC power systems.

This circuit breaker is rated for single phase 120/240V and 35A continuous current. Sizing the proper circuit breaker depends on local code as well as the arc welder you are feeding. Refer to NEC or a local electrician for guidance on the breaker sizing requirements for arc welders.
