Q:Do they make this product without the swivel? Mine leaked at the swivel, as many others have from the comments. Wondering if this product is made as a solid coupling, no swivel. Seems like a solid forged piece of brass with 3/8 in female OD fittings/threads at each end is what is needed. No swivel, no leak. For my project (toilet line / sprayer) I do not need the swivel to complete my installation.

A: We do not currently make a non swivel female compression coupling. https://www.homedepot.com/p/Everbilt-3-8-in-OD-Compression-Brass-Tee-Fitting-800609/300096256 may be suitable for your needs as it adapts a 3/8 comp supply valve to supply 2 separate fixtures.

A: The threads on this fitting are straight (NPS) and not tapered (NPT). Using with tapered threaded pipe or over tightening can cause leaks. While NPT and NPS threads will engage, they do not seal properly with each other.

A: Be sure to push the washer all the way into the fitting so that it sits properly prior to assembling the rest of the piping.

A: I'M HAVING THE SAME PROBLEM. THIS PRODUCT LEAKS AT THE CENTER SWIVEL, NOT WHERE THEY ATTACH TO OTHER PIPES/FITTINGS. Can anyone answer this?

A: If there is too much load hanging off one end of the coupling it might cause it to bend at the swivel causing it to leak. If that is the case then provide support for the load.

A: Unfortunately we do not have enough information regarding the installation to know why the adapter leaked. Please contact Customer Care (1-800-466-3337) and they can put you in touch with the manufacturer.

A: I was having this problem too until I reached out to my plumber friend. He said I was overtightening. If you overtighten, the rubber gasket will deform and it will leak at the swivel. I tried tightening a lot less and, sure enough, it didn't leak.
