A:  The inner diameter of this fitting is 0.840" or 13/16". It is only compatible with PVC Pipe, and not copper pipe, as copper pipe uses an entirely different measurement system.

A:  Yes. All FORMUFIT products are 100% manufactured in the USA.

A:  Nope. If you are planning on working with 1-1/4" Size PVC Pipe, you will want to use 1-1/4" Size PVC fittings. While 1-1/4" Size pipe has an actual outside diameter of 1.660" (or just over 1-1/2"), the 1-1/4" Size PVC fitting carry the same inner diameter to match. Hope this helps!

A:  These will accept any 1" Schedule 40 size PVC pipe, which should have an outside diameter of 1.315" (1-5/16").

A:  I am afraid not. Wooden dowels use a different measurement system than PVC pipe and the dowels would be too small for the fittings. These fittings can be painted, and you can use screws through the PVC as long as you pre-drill a hole.

A:  Metal conduit (EMT) utilizes a different measurement system and does not comply with the same ASTM standards in dimensions as PVC. If you were to use metal Sch 40 pipe, they would fit, however EMT conduit is a completely different measurement system. We do apologize.
