    A:  This particular unit with the install included would come with a rail for an 8 foot high door. For options for your seven foot high door, please contact your local Home Depot store, or contact Genie customer service at 1-800-354-3643.

      A:  Yes you can. You will need to clear the receiver on your garage door opener, then reprogram in the new remote along with any existing remotes/ keypads that you have. The instructions are different for clearing depending on which model garage door opener you have. You can find these instructions in the owners manual, or we can assist you if you call Genie customer service at 1-800-354-3643.

        Q:Opener info states it is DC. Does this unit come with an AC-DC converter so that it can simply plug into existing wall or ceiling outlet?

A Genie professional installer will bring the garage door opener directly to your home at the scheduled time of installation, (installer will make contact within 24-48 business hours for install set-up) Installation includes: removal and haul away of existing garage door opener, garage door inspection, adjustment to garage door spring system if needed for proper balance and lubrication of garage door rollers and hinges, (for a complete list of non-coverages and additional information see installation guide)
