A: Papahoward - It can get scratched, but I would not say that it would happen easily. Our butcher block comes with instructions on how to remove/fix scratches and dents.

A: Katie - This product is unfinished. You will need to seal it. There are many finishes on the market. There are also a variety of food safe finishes. We typically suggest food safe mineral oil is you plan to cut food directly on the countertop. This will take care and reapplication over time. Thank you!
