A:  Hi Joejoejoe, No stores in you nearby area carry this filter at any Home Depot I can find,this HDX filter but you can order the replacement I have used EcoPure 5-Year In-Line Refrigerator Water Filter - Includes both 1/4 in. Compression and Push to Connect Fittings Model# EPINL30, but no store in your area carry in stock so you can order this online or at the store

A:  Apparently so since it is listed on the website but not available for pickup or delivery

A:  Hi Needreplacement, yes that filter is gone, I switched to EcoPure Model # EPINL30 Internet #301065673 and it works great

A:  Bought mine at a Home Depot store about a year ago. I use for a stand-alone home ice machine. For my application definitely want to use a long-life filter, need to pull out machine from wall to access. Perhaps they sell on-line if not carried at store.

A:  You can ask someone in the store or simply go on line to see if they still carry it. If you did not see one on the shelf it maybe due to the stock had not been pulled forward from storage. It is common to occur. Ask a store clerk and they can pull more off the shelf

A:  I purchased from HD on line last year. A beefy filter that does the job. Relatively inexpensive.

A:  Hi DC I just went online and checked and no that filter is not available anymore, but there are lots of them in other brands available and most of them are all about the same, I have a well and has lots of lime mainly and other things like sand, etc. and I must have in stock 6 or 7 different brands and they all work great. Just go get one that is good for your water conditions and fit your setup and you will be great

A:  It is.

A:  Yes, this is a carbon filter. It does not reduce sodium that water softeners put into the water. However, the Glacier Bay Premium Reverse Osmosis System (HDGROS4) does reduce sodium and other contaminants such as total dissolved solids, many chemicals, lead, cysts, chlorine taste & odor and sediment.

A:  This filter does not reduce arsenic. It reduce chlorine taste and odor as well as sediment.

A:  This filter does filter the odor and the bad taste of water but as for arsenic I do not think it does, you may need to find a filter with an Arsenic filter cartridge. Home depot does sell the Arsenic Filter Cartridge by the way. Hope this helps.

A:  This filter does not fit into the GE filter, but rather can replace it entirely. This filter has a life of 5 years vs the GXRTQR having a 6 month life.
