A:  You can contact your local Home Depot to see if an installer can do that for you, the edges would need to be refinished again so that it wouldn't unravel.

A:  It’s an expensive rug to be altering, but I’ve been there! If you use a low flame, it will singe the fibers and prevent fraying. If you have a similar cheap throw or mat try it as an example so you don’t ruin the good one.
