A: Slats are 1" wide by about 15-1/2" long.
HOWEVER, Home Depot, this is not a question that another customer should be asked to answer, but one that the manufacture should provide.

A: Yes--they will mount up but you will have a larger gap on the door frame than usual. They should look alright if you are not a total perfectionist !

A: sorry, that is really out of my expertise, but I would imagine if you framed out the sides you could make up for the 2" gap.
