Q:If a stud has to be cut to install this why doesn't any of the videos show that, they all just show the man cutting the drywall and sticking the stuff in, very misleading?

Q:The specs say 15" x 23.5" for the door. Typical wall framing of 16" on center for studs leaves about 14 1/2" open space between the studs. Is the 15" x 23.5" exact? I don't see an option for a similar sized door that fits 14 1/2" opening.

A: Pretty sure thats 15" across and 23.5 high. Should fit with about an inch in between studs.

Q:Can we buy additional rigid lock-out panel that slides into grooves on the inside of the frame and snaps into place to effectively lock the door?

A: The product comes with one slide in door. I have not seen additional doors sold at home depot but have seen them at pet supply stores.
