Answer This Question
A: Hello, this is Sarah with Kohler Customer Service. I am glad to address your question. This bath spout would require a tube extending no more than 3-1/4" from the wall. That being said, your existing pipe would need to be shortened. For further assistance, please call our Customer Service team at 1-800-4KOHLER (M-F; 8am-5pm CST). Thank you for choosing Kohler.

A: Hello Kelly, my name is Kassi with Kohler Co. I'd be glad to answer your question. The tub spout is not going to be specific to the trim. It will be specific to how it attaches, (threaded or with a set screw) and how long the pipe sticks out from the wall. The K-389-S is a slip fit spout and requires a
5/8" OD tube that must extend3-1/4" (83 mm) Max beyond the finished wall. Thank you for choosing Kohler.

Answer This Question
A: Hi Kevin, this is Sarah with Kohler Customer Service. I am glad to address your questions. These bath spouts are not interchangeable without modifying the pipe supplying the water. The K-6855 bath spout requires a 1/2" NPT pipe extending 7/16" from the finished wall and the Devonshire bath spout requires a 5/8" OD slip fit (no threads) pipe extending 3-1/4" maximum, beyond the finished wall. Thank you for choosing Kohler.
