A:  I think it would work fine. You might want to amend it with something organic that would break down over a long period of time. Bone meal perhaps and something high in phosphate.

Q:Is it s good soil for shiso Britton growing and indoor?

      Answer This Question

A:  I start Plumaria cuttings in this product and they do beautifully. Nasturtiums grow from seeds under the citrus trees that I grow in pots filled with this soil. Love it and much as the plants do.

      by|Oct 24, 2021

A:  Kellogg Garden Organics Palm, Cactus & Citrus Mix will work well to grow your shiso. It is a great, well-draining soil. We recommend germinating seeds using an organic seed starter for best results. The particle size of PCC will be too large to hold the moisture needed to germinate seeds.

                  by|Jul 23, 2021

A:  Yes,hence ORGANIC micro organisms incorporate make up of the mix,due to the different ingredients in the formula. The little bugs are part of the natural processes.

A:  I have never seen any in my bags of soil. I would return it immediately. The last thing you want to introduce to your garden or potted plants is new pests.

                      by|Jul 11, 2021

A:  No it might not be normal because it my hinder your plant by it being parasites that might slow the process of it growing properly. So I would suggest you taking it back to the store.

A:  If the bugs were there right when you opened the bag the no that’s not normal.

A:  Yes...this should be good soil to use for your dragon fruit since dragon fruit is in the cactus category. If you plant it in a pot, just be sure it’s in a pot that is well draining. Only water the plant when the top of the soil is dry to the touch, and do not allow the plant to sit in water. The soil needs to be moist, not soaked.
