Q:Where is the venting ... through the bottom? on the side? or in the rear? I could not locate an answer to this question on any of your spec sheets, etc. (6.4 Cu. Ft. Downdraft Slide in--Kitchen Aid)

Q:I own this range and the top burners turn on and off as they cook, as in they turn red for a bit and then go dark (turn off) then back on. Is this normal?

A: Yes, that's how the burners work. The ratio of on to off varies depending upon how high the temperature is set. It seems odd at first but in my experience the burners are quite consistent and actually very powerful.
