Q:Besides having the door handle hole bored out if ordering a left- or right-handed door, is there any other difference if ordering the universal instead? Are the same ball catches on both doors or is there something else different? Thank you

Answer This Question
A: Hi Ralph! Thank you for the question. A universal door does not come with any pre-drilled boreholes and instead comes with a ball catch for securing each door. Each door is able to open. A left-handed door has a left door with a pre-drilled bore hole and a right door with a flush bolt for securing into the jamb. A right-handed door has a right door with a pre-drilled bore hole and left door with a flush bolt.
