              Answer This Question

A:  The fan does not come with an NFA value when not in use.

              by|Nov 27, 2023

A:  Hello Matty, Thank you for your recent inquiry with The Home Depot. This fan does not offer a NFA value when not in use? To calculate NFA, take the attic square footage ÷ 2 = square inches of exhaust and square inches of intake NFA needed. This Attic fan has a 1000 CFM which stands for Cubic Feet per Minute and is a measurement of the cubic feet per minute of air a fan can draw. This means that the higher the CFM, the more powerful the air suction. So a 1000 CFM fan will draw more air than say, a 400 CFM We appreciate your business and look forward to serving you in the future.
