Worth the extra $
Bought the $40 and returned it. This started working the moment it hit the sunlight. Remember, it's not a/c but it will at least keep my shed from being a kiln.

Great product so far. Perfect for my 10x20 Shed to vent out some hot air. In the summer (in Las Vegas) I temps inside my shed would get to 140+ degrees F. We'll see this summer, but so far it feels much cooler in there. Be aware of how large this is, it's not really going to cool your whole attic (maybe if you buy like 4 of them), But it works great for my 200 sq ft shed!

Bought two, but 1 of 2 stopped working after a few months. I did some troubleshooting and it turns out the solar panel was defective. It would stop working when it got hot. The company did not honor the five year warranty. They only sent a new motor (which I didn't need), after I had extensively explained that it was the panel that wasn't working correctly.

not as good as i had hoped, mounted 2 on the sides of my chicken house and only runs in direct, full sun. when less than full sun the motor wines and can be heard all over the farm. would probally work good on the rooftop
