A:  Matte is easy to clean. And holds up well in the rigors of installation. Better than gloss maybe. It's got a satin-like finish, very durable. I installed it myself in a small bathroom. Love it!

Both tiles are glazed, so the glaze will not absorb any staining agents, if they’re cleaned up in a reasonable amount of time and routine maintenance is performed. The matte version has more of a texture to it, but typically won’t be enough to have a major impact. Glossy tiles are quicker to clean because they have a smoother surface with less grip. We also recommend sealing the grout to prevent dirt buildup. Sealing the grout will add another layer of protection to this installation. (Coefficient of Friction) rating of 0.6 to 0.79 which makes this compliant with ADA (Americans with Disabilities Act) guidelines for slip resistance. One option that you could explore would be to remove the black mosaic chips and replace them with light blue mosaic chips from our Metro Hex Matte Light Blue https://thd.co/2mMoUoz. One thing to note is that these are not the same thickness; Metro Hex Matte White has a thickness of 5 mm, while Metro Hex Matte Light Blue has a thickness of 6 mm.
