Q:I have a Milwaukee 2803-20 drill driver. How does the slip clutch work ? It does not slip like my Dewalt does. Is this some kind of electronic clutch instead of mechanical one ? I've sent it in twice already. I don't understand how this one works.

Answer This Question
A: It works like all clutch's you set the number on the collar according to how tight or deep you want the fastener to be. Just make sure the collar is not set on drill or hammer as this over rides the clutch.

Q:Unfortunately I lost my receipt and paid cash for it. Not very happy. I tried the fuel before this but the trigger is faulty. I went to 7 different Home Depot’s and all the model fuel hammer drills had the same problem with loose triggers that pull Down and catch instead of pulling straight back. I’m mad at myself, but not too happy with Milwaukee either.

Q:Is anyone else having the same problem as me? I can move the dial to select hammer drill and drill but I can't dial it around to the other numbers. I can't even get all the way to 18. It has driven screws too deep. How do I dial it back to a lower torque?

A: Not at all Barry... No problems here... Try contacting your local Home Depot. The customer service is exceptional! Milwaukee customer service is fantastic as well. I called them with a general question and they were great help. Good Luck!

A: Sounds like a defective product, I would either contact Milwaukee for a replacement or return to Home Depot and buy a new one. Mine works fine and is easy to switch between settings.

A: I got it working now. I had turned it to hammer drill just to test it out and I couldn't turn it back to 18 and the other lower numbers. I didn't want to force it and break something but I finally got it turned back to the numbers.
