A: Not exactly from the tests and the side by side comparisons that I have seen. It similar but it does have a little bit more power. Plus I would think it would since it does run off of the 18 volt platform and does have a bigger motor. Now I would r say it’s night and day different but there is a little more. I have seen the stubby remove nuts that were torqued to 325 and the m18 version be able to remove nuts torqued to 375. The stubby could t remove the 375 nuts

A: Yes as long as whoever put the lug nuts on last time didn't way overtighten them. I usually take mine in the car with me in case I get a flat tire.
