A:  Yes. Oatey part 42156.

A:  You would need the proper gasket purchased separately for copper pipe. The gasket included is for schedule 40 PVC and ABS 42158 Rubber Caulking Gasket to fit 2" Copper DWV Drain Pipe in the NO-CALK shower drains 42159 Rubber Caulking Gasket to fit 1-1/2" Copper DWV Drain Pipe in the NO-CALK Shower Drains

A:  No, It doesn’t require additional rubber seal. 

A:  No additional seal is required. The new drain comes with the required gasket. Just make sure pipe is clean and cut square, using a little dish soap will help to slide gasket over pipe while tapping down into drain.

A:  No need to buy anything else. It comes with both seals. The one that seals the drain around the pipe and the one that seals the drain under the shower base.

A:  3/4" below the top flange is where the pipe needs to be terminated. Please contact technical@oatey.com for a set of instructions.

A:  No it can be loosened and removed. Plumbers putty can cause ABS to become brittle and crack over time.
