A:  Hello Vonn, Thank you for your inquiry about our products. For picking up large amounts of liquid we recommend that the filter be removed. The VF7000 filter adds protection for your vacuum during wet pick-up by keeping water-borne debris out of the motor. When vacuuming up liquid and you are using the wet foam filter there should be no mist or water that should come out from the blower port of the vacuum. In case misting occurs, turn off the vacuum and check the water level inside the canister - it may have reached the pre-determined level when the vacuum should be stopped and to dump out the liquid. After removing the liquid inside the cannister and misting have happened please run the vacuum without picking up anything to expel remaining liquid that is trapped inside the head of the vacuum to prevent metal parts from rusting. Also, check if the inlet port of the vacuum if the tube inside the cannister is pointed on the side you turn it by twisting it and point the hole of the inlet downwards. The filter reach the HEPA level filtration. However, the VF8000 is not a HEPA certified filter. A:  Dear Tony, Thanks for your inquiry about our product. Yes, VF4200 will fit your vacuum. Please note that we have VF4000 for 1 pack filter. We recommend that you follow the instructions below. 1. Carefully slide the filter onto the filter cage, and press down on the outside edge of the filter until the rubber gasket on the bottom of the filter seats securely around the base of the filter cage and against the lid. 2. Align the smalll center hole in the top of the filter over the stud of the filter cage. 3. Press firmly on top of the filter near the stud until the threaded stud comes out.. 4. Screw on the plastic nut - do not over tighten the nut.
