Q:Can this be powered by UPS for several hours or few days? If so what size/rating of UPS would be required? Does the unit require constant power or just to ignite? Someone said inexpensive auto power inverter but can't run car for hours to power.

Answer This Question
A: Hi Aced, we wouldn't recommend the unit to be wired to a UPS as that may interrupt the unit's heating operation or can affect it negatively. The unit does require constant power to detect when heating is necessary.
