No. A gas valve (not included) connects to the black pipe. The gas line connects directly to the flare fitting on the valve.
Two feet to 6 feet is about right.
No this kit does not come with a gas or water valve.
1/2 inch NPT, Compression, and Flare.
No idea. I had terrible luck with this leaking and returned it.
I recently installed a 40 gal. hot water tank, and used this kit. It's been 4 months, and since then I've had no problem. I'm sure it will work for you. I find the water lines are made very strong to hold such high water pressure. But always read the specifications before purchasing the product. I hope I was some help, good luck.
Each of the two water connectors are 18 inches in length. They have fittings on them for 3/4" pipes. They also come with compression adapters, so one end of them can be fit to 3/4" copper pipes. The gas connector is 24 inches in length. It has a 1/2" female pipe thread at one end and 1/2" male pipe thread at the other. The inside diameter of this gas connector is 38". It is rated for 104,200 BTU.
While the lines are flexible, a full 180 degree bend my require a longer line than is in the kit. The attached picture shows my installation. Hope this helps.
Great product.........
It all depends on what size gas lie is coming in and how much pressure is on the line but if you are worried if your appliance will get enough gas , ? Don't be cause if you can buy the appliance at any store and it is not a special one of a kind order and the gas line into your home or business is the same size or bigger then its enough B.T.U.'s for your appliance . You only have to worry if the appliance is asking for a bigger supply line that is coming in to your place then is there , then you should call your local gas company or if it is a LP gas then talk to the LP supplier in your area or the one you get your LP from .
