A:  Weed killer and weed prevention products such as Scotts Turf Builder Halts Crabgrass Preventer with Lawn Food are not registered for areas where grazing animals feed. Animals may not graze for 1 year after the application as we do not have information about when it would be safe.

        A:  No! This will kill the grass seed before it can germinate. Crabgrass preventer in the spring, then reseed in the fall. give it a few months after application before trying to grow new grass.
