A: Hi Jay, Thank you for contacting SharkBite. The SharkBite 1/2 in. x 300 ft. Coil Red PEX-A Pipe can be used with the following types of products when sealing between PEX tubing/fittings and slab penetration protection devices. - Latex caulk - Latex foam - Silicone sealant

A: Hi Tony, The SharkBite PEX-A pipe has been tested and approved for expansion fittings that are tested and approved to the (ASTM F1960) standard. If the Apollo fittings are tested to the same standard then you can use the fittings with the SharkBite PEX-A pipe. A: Hi, You can bend the SharkBite 1/2 in. x 5 ft. Straight Blue PEX-A Pipe but you do not want to heat the pipe. This could compromise the integrity of the pipe. You could use PEX supports to keep the pipe bent. If you have any more questions you can call tech support at 877-700-4242. Kind regards,
