    Q:The sound rating indicates that it is lIC 68 but it does not indicate on what size slab (6" or 8" concrete slab). It also does not include this information in the product brochure either. Is there any more information on acoustical ratings?

    A:  This product is perfect, but you must install a layer of 7/16" OSB or plywood on top to protect the insulation from long term wear. I will not only provide insulation but a vapor barrier and when placed with the foil side facing down will also reflect heat back into the shed when and if heating is used in winter. For absolute best effect to control BOTH heat loss and solar heat gain from the sun ( effective cooling ) you should put this inside your walls and under your ceiling boards also . Will perform far higher than the advertised R value due to the radiant reflective properties of the metalized film. Good Luck,

    A:  Yes, I would think so. It's made for the flooring to float or just lay on top of it. Make sure the linoleum can't slip causing injury.
