Answer This Question

A: Check the Simpson catalog for the adhesive this item is intended to be used with. There is a minimum and maximum embedment that varies with the diameter of the bolt. If you are looking for a cast in place anchor bolt, this is not it - this is for installation after the concrete is already done.

A: I'm sure it depends on your local code but a good rule of thumb is to have only an 1-1/2 to 2 in above your blocking and the deeper the better.
