A:  At Stairtek, we do not sell hardwood flooring, you would have to check with your local Home Depot store.

A:  You don't have to stain it. Just lightly sand it with the grains (120/150 grid), clean from dust and apply 3 coats of clear coat (polyurethane) satin finish. Remember to lightly sand it between coats

A:  A finish is recommended, as the bare wood will pick up soil and stains if left bare. Mike

A:  The ones I purchased are solid wood

A:  Solid oak all the way through. 

A:  These are solid oak.

A:  Stairtek 5/8 in. x 11-1/2 in. x 60 in. The depth (front to back) is 11.5 inches, not 60

A:  1 "× 11 1/2 x 60"

A:  5/8 in is the thickness of the tread. 11 1/2 is the depth of the tread (front to back). 60 in is the length of the tread (side to side).

A:  The treads are sold as 1 piece. So it is priced per piece.

A:  They are solid oak.

A:  They can be nailed down, but due to the nature of the product, it would likely start to speak at some point. I have always used a polyurethane subfloor adhesive liberally and a couple of finishes mailed angled in to hold till the glue set up.

A:  We sell in single pieces.

A:  11.5 is the depth of the tread. This is the measurement from the back of the tread to the bullnose in the front.

A:  Hi Tim. As far as I remember that is the full depth including the bull nose

A:  Yes if the tread is standard size.

A:  I'm sure you have to cut off the edge of the existing tread so it is flush with the riser.
