Q:can this be mounted under the counter (so the tracks will be upside down) and slide the basket out like a drawer??

A:  Thank you for your inquiry. To answer your question, we would not recommend it to be mounted with the tracks upside down as the basket is actually held by clips. Therefore, the drawer would fall after any weight is put into it.

      Q:Can the baskets be pulled out to clean underneath? They were installed by former home owner and so far, I can't get them out. I have tried pulling up in the front but they still seem firmly locked in.

                          A:  No, they are screwed into the base of the cabinet so that they can slide in and out. So basically wipe down or unscrew. But overall they work great.
