Q:This band can connect 4? copper x 4? pvc transition. It feels extremely loose on the copper side . No leak tho. Will this hold?

Answer This Question
A: This coupler has a 4.56-inch inner diameter. It will fit perfectly only for PVC pipes, but on the copper side, there will be a 0.375-inch (3/8") difference, which is too loose to secure tightly. I suggest inserting a copper coupling first before placing it into the flexible coupling. This will increase the outer diameter of the copper side.
