What could be a simpler way to couple two 3” pipes. No blue dye on your hands or sticky glue. Especially when working in tight situations. Easily couple two pipes in seconds. And the quality is exceptional. It comes with two heavy duty stainless steel clamps that you can crank down tight to make an air tight seal. It is made out off tough polyvinyl that resists rot. But remember theses are not suitable in high pressure situations. But rain pipes, sewer connections and drains will be the perfect application for these couplers.

Didn't use it. A standard PVC coupling was enough. Ordered this just in case.

Fernco fittings are great to use in a pinch or if you need accessibility to removed and reinstall, fittings

I am actually using this, along with a smaller coupling, to attach a dust collection fitting to a piece of PVC schedule 40 pipe. The OD of the rubber coupling for the dust is about the same as the OD of the schedule 40 pipe, so I'll use the dust collector rubber coupling as a busing then this fitting as the actual coupling and tightening mechanism. It looks like it will work well, despite not being this parts intended use.

we got one of these couplings missing one of the 5 inch stainless steel clamps

Only issue was, one of the rubber coupling was missing the clamps. I need some help sourcing it.

If plumbing is not completely in line, these are great. No leaks and some room for adjustment. Not sure how they will hold up over long term, but would b easy to replace.

They do the job very well and seal up nicely.

I wanted to replace the plastic tubing on our above ground pool with PVC pipe. These provided the perfect transition from the hose connectors to the PVC pipe.

Very odd, I tried to return it and was told this was not a Home Depot item because it would not scan. The item is fine, but I needed one for vacuum systems, not for plumbing pipe which has a much larger diameter.
