Q:I just bought 3 terra Verde planters for my patio. I'm confused because two of them had the cone part going downward and one had it facing up. I am assuming the con part should be facing up where I plant the dirt. Please confirm.

Answer This Question
A: Hello,
Place the watering reservoir piece cone down* to the bottom of the planter & fill the top with potting mix or soil. Then fill the planter with water, allowing excess water to pour out the overflow hole. Remove the drain plug for outdoor use.
Thank you!

A: Hello,
Yes they would be safe to eat. Our planters are not harmful to vegetation and equally food safe because they have been tested and found to pass "Toxicity Leachate Procedure". The planters have been tested to show they do not leach any known harmful toxins.

Q:How long can you go without refilling the water reservoir? I travel and want to gage if this product will work. Example I have self watering plants that I only water 1 time per month.

Answer This Question
A: Hello,
The way our water reservoir works it holds the water in the reservoir. If your plants do not have roots long enough (strong enough) to help soak up the water, we would recommend to still water this based on how dry your soil may feel. Thank you.

Answer This Question
A: Hello,
Only water would come out from the drain hole should you decide to take off the removable drain plug, so that excess water can drain out. Water stains form on cement when it is exposed to a continuous source of moisture. For assistance maintaining your concrete, please reach to the concrete manufacturer / services.
Thank you!

Q:Previous customer asked a question that was not answered by video as you recommended and I am curious too, what about smaller or baby plants that do not have an established root system that may not be able to reach the bottom reservoir of water?

Answer This Question
A: Hello,
Until the plant is mature & roots are established which would be long enough to reach the water reservoir, you would have to water the plant yourself. The frequency of watering baby plants depends on the age of the plant.
Thank you!
