              Q:Vigoro sells perlite by the quart and by the cu foot. How many quarts are in a cu foot? The size I want is out of stock, so I need to compare the other options. Thanks.

                A:  It depends how aerated you want your potting mix to be. For my cacti I do 1:1, houseplants less for well drainage. If you’re a generous waterer definitely up the perlite content.

                      A:  Thank you for your question. Perlite is in a pebble-like granular form. It is not finely graded. Please see the accompanying images on homedepot.com for a better idea.
