Questions and Answers for Wayne 1/6 HP Submersible Utility Pump

A:  I have twice had to pump water out of my basement after a rain, up through a regular garden hose about 8' and out to a flat yard about 50'. This pump has plenty of power and does the job quickly, so I believe it would do your job equally well. Recommended.

A:  Nope, dump in on 10ft deep pool, along as power does hit the water your okay. It drain 40k of pool water out

A:  This model of pump does not have a level switch that turns the pump on and off, it runs continuously.

A:  Yes, I used this pump to drain my pool. At one point the pump was 3 feet under water. Make sure you use a grounded (3 prong) extension cord. Worked great for the job.

A:  It will pump 10 feet vertical easily. I've used it to pump water to my pool sliding which is on a desk. The pool itself is 54 inches and the slide is an additional 7 feet above that. And it has no problem at all.

A:  Yes, but some metal parts will be corroded. Unfortunately they do not use stainless steel for metal parts, and those parts get corrosion in sweet water as well.
