A: This is a pretty universal part, like a screw or nail, very versatile. The only real trouble when it comes to compatiblity is the length of the thermocouple. The same length or longer is fine, but like a 24" long thermocouple wont be long enough to replace a 36" or 48". It will have issues reaching. I suggest you take the old one off, measure the length, and then take it to the store with you. If it says it's the same length and looks like the same shape/ size, especially the ends where they thread into the valve and thermocouple bracket, then it should work just fine. I've used LOTS of generic thermocouples on a wide variety of pieces of equipment with no problems.

A: Hello AM! The Honeywell Universal Gas Thermocouple is compatible with most furnaces, boilers and water heaters that operate on 30 millivolt systems as it has a universal adapter that allows for easy mounting on most pilot burners (includes push-in, clamp-in and screw-in burners). I would recommend that you contact the manufacturer to ensure this will be compatible with your particular unit. I hope this helps. Thank you.
