A: Thank you for your interest in our product the Smart Tiles.
You can install peel and stick Smart Tiles directly over your existing backsplash, whether it is glass or ceramic and the wall has to be smooth and sleek with no texture. You must also take into consideration the width and depth of your existing grout lines as this might affect the outcome.

A: Hello, thank you for your interest in the Smart Tiles.
Peel and stick Smart Tiles should not be installed where they may be submerged in water or used as a working surface. It is also inadvisable to put them where they will be in direct contact with steam or flames.
So, it is not recommended to install Smart Tiles:
in the shower,
on the countertop,
on the floor,
on the ceiling.
Despite these constraints, Smart Tiles can be installed in a bathroom, kitchen or on a fireplace mantel.

Answer This Question
A: Hello, thanks for your question and interest in Smart Tiles. Especially designed for a kitchen environment, Smart Tiles are highly resistant to the heat of a stove. However, it is highly recommended to prevent direct contact with open flame. If you install Smart Tiles behind a gas range without a protective rear panel, allow a height of 15 inches above the surface without Smart Tiles. Please do not hesitate to contact us with any questions.

A: Hello, thanks for your question and interest in peel and stick Smart Tiles. Begin from left to right. You will need to cut the tabs on the first tile, turn it up side down, and connect the next tile. This way you will be able to overlap on grout side. On your 4th sheet, just cut the excess. The Smart Tiles are really easy to cut and maintain. You just need a box cutter. Also, be sure to overlap the “grout” lines so no one will notice the seams. Please don’t hesitate to contact us with any questions.

A: The Smart Tiles are so lightweight and thin (1/16”) that you can install directly over existing tiles. For the preparation, make sure the wall is smooth and clean before you install the tiles. The tiles are easy to remove with a blow dryer if you warm up each peel and stick tile long enough to soften the adhesive and pull softly starting with the corners
