We always recommend that the smart tiles be installed on a surface that is smooth and sleek without any texture. The tiles sheets are made with a gel-resin over a adhesive-backed vinyl sheet. This does create a 3-D effect for the peel and stick tile sheet. The beauty of Smart Tiles is that it requires little time, no glue, no tools, it is easy to install and can be removed easily without damaging your wall.
