Worked great! Used in cinder block chimney to anchor a triangle shade cloth.

I had to mount a couple of boards onto the side of the house for the deck I was building. The location where I was mounting those boards was on brick. I drilled holes in the brick and then inserted the Lag Shields and then mounted the boards to the brick. I actually used 20 Lag Shields and 5 inch zinc Lags to mount the boards to the brick. Was all very easy.

300+ pound rated lag shield. At 2 1/2 inches long, this is meant to anchor heavy items in concrete. Lag shields are essential if you're mounting or anchoring anything of weight into concrete. Something I particularly like about these lag shields is that the spreading teeth start about one quarter of the way down. That means the shield will start biting into the concrete early in the process. Although medium duty rated, 300 plus pounds is significant.

I have used these type of anchors before when I have needed to secure something in some sort of masonry product from concrete to red brick and have always trusted them to hold well and not to break while being retched down tightly. An additional measure that I have always taken because I have used them in commercial areas where I wanted to make doubly sure they performed as needed I would squirt some liquid nail down in the hold before inserting the anchor. Does it need liquid nail?? Probably not but its always made me feel better at the end of the job.

Worked as designed. Held steady and should last for a while.

Perfect for what was needed to attach a flag holder to a brick front.

I needed to install a TV wall bracket and the Lag bolts provided by manufacturer did not grip in the cinder block to support the bracket. The Lag shield’s I purchased went into the cinder block and widen its grip enabling me to secure bracket and TV safety.

The lag shields did exactly what I wanted done. I was having trouble keeping my flag mount staying on the brick wall. These shields were easy to put in and held the bolts nicely.

Had to mount fixtures onto a tiled concrete block wall-these standard lag shields did the job.

Used for installing swimming pool rail in cool deck. Did the job

work grate to hold down my pool umbrella on concrete deck
