Threaded Ceiling Fan Connections ONLY
Note that this down rod is NOT suitable for use with NON-threaded fans and therefore, IS NOT universal as noted on the product packaging. On non-threaded fans, the set screws hit the threads on the down rod and throw the down rod out of plumb. Impossible to get these down rods plumb with non-threaded (i.e., set screw) connections.

Came with dents and was very difficult to pair the remote to. Blades were difficult to attach compared to several other brands of fan that I have recently installed.

The machine bolts were nightmare to align. Very bad design. Replaced with stainless sheet metal screws for mounting the lighting assembly.
