Works perfectly but is a little noisy and filling tank is a little awkward because it has to be on end and could fall over if not careful.

It is excellent

This was a replacement for one I bought 6 years ago. Same model. This one was harder to get going, initially, and seems fussier to keep functioning. I think that sometimes when you’re trying to improve something you actually make it worse. If it ain’t broke don’t fix it.

I use this humidifier in my 3500 Sq. Ft. home that has a LOT of natural wood in it. The first week I had to refill the tank at least once each day as the wood soaked up all the moisture it put out. I located it next to one of the HVAC inlet vents so the system would carry it through out the house and it has worked well. The tank has lasted longer and longer as the humidity level has stabilized through out the house. The multiple fan speeds are nice but it does get pretty noisy at the higher fan speeds. The humidity read out is a nice feature along with the auto shut off with low water level. The only draw back is that the moisture sensor for the air humidity level is located on the power cord close the the unit and air inlet on the back side. A remote mount humidity sensor would be a better setup.

It works well, when working. I agree with the other reviews, a little flimsy and I have to fill it with water every night before bed. I only use it over night to sleep. The filter needs to be changed frequently and is not available in the store. I’ve had it for a year and a half and I already have to replace it. The humidity level isn’t rising in my room, according to the humidifier, and the fan has gotten a little louder. This is my first humidifier so I don’t know any other brand to consider

1 refill tank is very heavy to handle. Refill by tube is cumbersome

Overall the unit seems to perform as specified but it has 2 significant flaws that would lead me to NOT purchase it again in the future. 1) it’s extremely noisy on its lowest speed and 2) the water capacity it holds is deplorable. Running the unit for only 12 hours each day it runs empty in 2 days

This is a replacement for the same humidifier that I purchased and returned because the fan switch was defective. I ordered a replacement and find that this one has a defective fan motor, and will be returning it. I'm done with this brand and will be purchasing a humidifier elsewhere.

Gave this to my brother as Christmas Gift. He uses a wood stove to heat his house in NH. He did say it is not convenient to fill it. Also did say it works great. Not too sturdy though so you have to be careful not to bump into anything when wheeling it to sink to refill with hose. I will say I am not sure what he thought they would be made out of !! Plastic is what they all are made from.

The humidier was purchased to replace one that we had used for many years. The materials in the new one are much cheaper then the old one. It seems to work well but time will tell if it holds up like the old one did.

The first unit failed within two months of use. The fan motor on the low setting would not come up to speed and just make a loud humming noise. If you changed the speed to a higher setting it appeared to function ok. The problem with that was, I did not need to run it any higher than low. I returned the unit, which went well, and now the second unit is doing the same thing, just not as often as the first unit did. I have not returned the second unit yet, but will if the problem persists and/or worsens.

This unit works great brought our humidity level up on the first day and maintains it The high speed is a bit loud but during the day time hours you don't notice it and just drop the speed at night works great I'm very glad we purchased it

Of course something plumbed so you don't have to add water would be better but at this price very impressive. It works very well in maintaining nice humidity levels. No more static shock!

One of the worst purchases I ever made. The unit is loud and disruptive. Uses more water than any humidifier I have ever seen. Not pleasurable to continually refill.. Don't plan on sleeping with the unit on any higher fan speeds. A complete waste of money - get something else.

If you want to spend all your time adjusting the tank This is the tool for you. Its noise level is loud enough to drown out a naggin spouse. What a waste of money

Consider that 5 gals weighs almost 40lbs so if you can lift 40lbs with one hand, refilling will be easy!

Bying this product, was the right choice I ever made in my life. I am HEALTHY AND CAN BREATH BETTER WITH THIS PRODUCT.

This unit replaced a console humidifier we had used for nearly 20 years. First thing I noticed was how thin the plastic housing was. It feels flimsy and fragile. I did like the single large wick, it fits well and the design makes sense. The single water tank is not large, so if you plan on treating a large area, plan on refilling 2 or 3 times per day. Also, several times the tank did not drain into the console refilling, and the unit stopped, display read it needed filling (F) and the tank was full. Customer service sent a replacement part and a pvc shim to help line things up. Works better now. The fan (which has 4 speed settings) was initially quiet, but in the course of a couple of weeks it went from quiet to very noisy. It rattles like crazy! This thing makes so much noise that we keep the door closed in the rooms we are using. I've checked and tightened all the visible screws, but it made no difference. The humidity level in the house is well maintained using this unit. If you don't mind the noise, buy with confidence.

Worth the price but it is a little loud on the higher fan settings

We've had the unit in service for a week. When we started it running the humidity in the house was 25%. In the last week it has fluctuated between 36-42%. (We have it set on 40, running the fan at the lowest speed.) Two downsides are that the fan is fairly loud at higher speeds (but we discovered we don't need to use those speeds), and, as another reviewer noted, the refill tank can be a bit tricky to set in place so that it drains properly. Being careful in putting it in the unit is necessary to insure the valve is properly seated to work properly. We are, however, quite pleased with our purchase. It is working very well. Within a couple of hours of turning it on we noted the house felt warmer. My wife's hands, which crack badly every winter due to dryness (even w/lotions), are much better this week, with no cracking. Throughout the week I have been wearing fewer layer of clothing around the house, without changing the thermostat setting. The controls are easy to use. The refill hose makes refilling the tank simple. We are operating the unit (which is rated for up to 2500 sq. ft.) in a home of about 1400 sq. ft.

My wife and I thought it would work much like our Bemis water wick unit that we had for the past 15 years. Unfortunately it doesn't work well when it comes to water draining from the plastic water bottle without nearly constant monitoring the drainage and re-adjusting the water bottle onto the drainage feature. We are not at all satisfied with our purchase.
