I use it for a water channel for self watering plant troughs.

I purchased three of these pipe sections that are designed as bell and spigot so that they connect without the use of a separate coupling; very easy. The pipe is new so I cannot report on durability, but the wall thickness is similar to existing, so it should last quite a while. Yes, I would recommend to a friend.

I returned this item so I can't really rate it. Paid over $110 at HD, then ended up finding the same thing for $50 in another store. This is why I returned it.

Used this product for my tomato buckets to elevate the bucket lid that I cut. Keeps water flowing below the soil with a hole for a cup that soil will wick the water. Overall this works great for the application.
