I did more research (and made more returns) than any sane person has a right to. I finally came to the end of my search with Alen. Not only are they technically unsurpassed (mold, bacteria, allergens, etc.) but they are actually attractive! Also at least half the price of other competitors and have impeccable customer service. Could not be happier!

We had our garage floor coated which left a distinctive odor so we bought the Allen 50. It's been running for about a week and the odor it hardly noticeable.

It has helped reduce so much of the "dog" scent in our living room. Absolutely recommend. When we see the filter and how much dust and fur it is capturing I realized I should have invested in this much earlier. So happy to have this and excited to get more when we move to a bigger space !

There is a peace of mind having this unit in our home. It is quiet and unobtrusive and really makes a difference in the air quality. Most of the people in our home have allergies and these have improved. There is less dust and pet hair than before. We also like the different filter options and the air quality indicator.

We have this unit in our largest bedroom/bathroom, and boy, am I sleeping better with this unit on all the time!! I can tell such a difference in the air quality, and when I vacuum the pre-filter, it is incredible! We have a house that is older and all split up, so we have 5 total units. We started with a mold problem, and after it was fixed, I wanted to make sure it stayed fixed, and these units are really making a difference! Plus, we have LOTS of pets, and the dander issue is much reduced, which I can tell by the ease with which I breathe now when I am at home.

Received 1-6-21. Will do a update later. Delivery fast, set up easy. Very quiet on all speeds. Mainly keep it on auto. Love the looks of purifier. Did contact them several times very fast respond. Excellent service from Alen. Very happy with my decision.

seems to work.. I bought this for a DUSTY house. I do have to dust the purifier itself so that's a little weird, but I suppose if that's where the dust is attracted you might expect to find it there. I do still have to dust the house everyday but the layer is not as thick and I notice less floaties in the air. House seems a little fresher smelling in general. Not noticeably, but if I think about it, the lingering odors that normally occur (cooking, trash etc) aren't there. I placed 1 near our front door and the other in our walkout basement main area. The color indicator on the one upstairs changes to red every time we walk by (stirring up dust) so I know that feature works well. My family has fun noticing the differences in air quality throughout the day. I haven't had it long so I can't speak for longevity and for the price I would hope for a bigger difference or else I'd give it 5 stars.

I've been sick for about 3 months and tried numerous antibiotics and allergy meds. After purchasing these air purifiers (one for bedroom, one for living room), I started feeling considerably less sick. I also need white noise while sleeping, so when it's on the highest fan setting, it works as a sound machine and have much less congestion while sleeping!

Love my Fit-50, I have 2 of these now. I suffer from allergies and insomnia. I use units dramatically decrease the the things floating around in the air. I typically leave them running mall day on the weekends when I’m home most often. My place smells completely different during the week when I walk into the door in the evenings when I don’t run them all day. However, when I’m having issues during high pollen season, I run them constantly.

Our lower level was challenged with a mold and musky odor. We wanted to use it as a gym but the air quality was not good enough . The Alen fit 50 with a silver filter solved the problem . I never thought the air would be clean . Also the unit is quite attractive

This is the second Alen FIT50 purifier I have purchased. I run the purifier 24hrs a day for more than two years now and have experienced nothing but incredible use out of the purifier and customer service from the company.

I love my Alen BreatheSmart FIT50 Air Purifier and highly recommend it to people who are planning on buying an air purifier. I enjoy the modern style of the unit and the control indicators that shows you how the unit is working. The unit is quiet and love the colors of indicators. Also, the Alen representatives from the chat box are always there, knowledgeable and ready to answer any questions or concerns that you may encounter.

It came in just in time for the new wildfire...We forgot to turn off A/C during the night and the house was full of smoke smell in the morning. After we turned on Alen, the smell went away! Good to have it at this troubling time!

I highly recommend this product!!! Our new rental was quite moldy and after 1 day we noticed a difference. After 1week it’s was not even noticeable. The set up was super easy, just insert the filter and set the lid. No tools needed. The push button settings are so easy to figure out also

We are definitely sleeping better at night than before. The air quality has improved and we see a difference in our sinus issues. It fits nicely I the room without jumping out at you.

Dang this this is awesome. I read some other reviews and though they were excellent reviews they did say there was a smell to it. but I just came home after being evacuated from the creek fire in California and my house smells so bad I am so happy to smell this clean air that has been improved from this air purifier. It worked overnight in one room and about 3 days for the whole house.

I wake up in the morning breathing more easily through my nose when the FIT50 has been running.

We keep buying Alen air purifiers because of the great job that they do in cleaning out the air. You can prove this by taking a look at the used filters. During the Covid virus the add a protection to ones family.

We had evacuated from the fires and a friend had this filter from years ago to help keep down allergens from their pets. It did amazing when the air quality was terrible outside. And while the fires are done for the summer we are ready for next summer now, for better or worse.

I purchased a FIT50 to hep reduce the smoke particulate levels inside our house's master bedroom from the ubiquitous California wildfires. (When outside PM2.5 levels are high, AQI>150, and there's an in-out temperature gradient, infiltration into the house is inevitable, even with HVAC house filters w/MERV ratings>13.) We were very pleased with the FIT50's quiet, soothing sound levels -- allowing us to sleep during the disturbing smoke episodes. It undoubtedly reduced the smoke levels in the master bedroom. Delivery was amazing quick (after the units became available due to high demand. Submitting our email addresses to the wait list actually worked, thanks!)

We live in the San Francisco bay area. When it is "fire season" the air can get really bad. We now have 3 of these FIT50 air purifiers and they keep our air clean. I love the way the unit tells you how the air is improving with the change of the light color. I have recommended this unit to several friends and they really like this unit as well.

Our air purifier arrived a week into the West Coast month of wildfire smoke/hazardous air quality. We have run it constantly (it's designed for that anyway) and the auto mode has taken care of the variety of air quality levels. Fan runs quiet to barely noticeable in Turbo mode. The color indicator keeps you appraised of the quality of the air in the room and the impact of letting in "fresh" air or not. Will be getting a second one for upstairs so I don't have to carry it up at night.
