Rain Gutter Relief
I purchased one box a couple years ago and used them on one part of our house. I since have replaced those gutters but I removed these leaf guards, ordered a second box snd used them on the rest of our house. I found that screws, plastic ties and the like are not even necessary. I cut a notch in the lower lip that goes toward the top of the rain gutter to accommodate the gutter supports, slid the other end under the starter row (see picture) of shingles and then slid it forward and the forward double lip of the leaf guard locked itself on the gutter (the notch enables the guards to fit tight to the gutter). It does take ladder time to install these but I can say with certainty, my rain gutters have never been so devoid of leaves as this fall with these installed. A great product whose price of $1.34+/- for each three feet is absolutely tremendous — plus it WORKS!

      versatile
I purchased the gutter guards to keep leaves and debris out of my pool. I put two rows in a brick type pattern for extra strength. I glued the top row to the bottom row and attached them with plastic zip-ties. It was fairly easy, with only minimal cutting. My fence is white, so these look great as a border at the bottom. Also because of the open pattern they won't get destroyed by the wind. It keeps leaves and grass clippings out of my pool!

I installed the Gutter Guards around my house. My rain gutters were too thick for the gutter guards to snap over the front edge, I had to push them under shingles and pull forward under lip on front edge of the rain gutter. Looks like it should work ok, I hope they will survive the Texas Summer Heat, Installed in March 2017.

For the price, this is a great product. It is flexible enough to make it easy to install without damaging anything. It keeps out all the detritus it is meant to keep out. It is easy to cut for any trim it needs to flush with and for matching the length of the gutter. The specs call for using this with shingles but I was able to use it with metal roofing. It was a little trickier to slide under than with shingles, but it worked. I feel the extra time to work with it was worth it since it is an affordable gutter guard to start with. A very good price at Home Depot. One nit picky negative is that I couldn't get the labels off of the pieces; perhaps they will wear off and shouldn't interfere with drainage too much. I am anxious to see how the plastic holds up over time with sun and temperature changes. Will they remain flexible or will they crack?; will the clip end pop off the gutter? We'll see. Very pleased overall with no real problems.

          Gutter Guards
These plastic gutter guards are fairly easy to install and snap on tightly to the edge of the gutter. I bought the guards without the sand screen to help assure water would readily go into the gutters. Some suggestions I have for the manufacturer: 1: make them in different widths, the 7" width of these makes it difficult to slide under the roofing where the nails are near the edge even on 5" gutters. Installing requires cutting around the nails. I think this size would not have worked for me if the gutters were 4" instead of 5". 2: make corner pieces (inside and outside corners) that will help keep debris from entering at the corners. For Installers: 1: slide each piece along the edge line under the roofing, beginning at the previously installed piece, pulling it makes it easier and much faster. 2: overlap the corners at least 1" (1/2" from each direction) when possible, then stitch the corners with soft galvanized wire. We'll have to wait a few weeks to see how well they work. I usually have to clean these gutters 3 or 4 time per year, I am hoping to never do it again.

          Easy install, mediocre performance.
These were the most inexpensive gutter covers that I found. They looked to be a good design and easy to install. The installation was straight forward. You notch about an inch or two for the overlap and they snap on to the edge of the gutter. I had to notch around the gutter nails on a stretch of older gutter. The newer gutter was held in place by a different hanger and didn’t get in the way of the cover. My gutters measure five inches wide, so the gutter cap covered the gutter and went up under the roofing a few inches. Installation was quick. During a good hard rain I would say that 30 percent of the water ran over the edge of the gutters and I was still able catch the other 70 percent into a couple of large rain water catch totes. With that said my roofing does extend about halfway over my gutters. I could get better performance if I would cut back the roofing to expose more of the surface area of the gutter cover. This will be something I address the next time I roof the house. These gutter covers will keep debris (pine needles, moss, leaves) from collecting in the gutter; unfortunately, it will also keep a fair amount of the water out also.

Very Pleased with Ease of Installation
With the impending Autumnal rain-of-leaves, I needed to replace some gutter guards. You can spend $5/foot on some products. These are about $0.60/foot. No clips; they snap in exceptionally tight to a standard K-type gutter; and they are as rigid as the aluminum gutter guards they are replacing. Highly recommended! Installed 36 feet in an hour. (Note: I had previously used the same manufacturer’s product without the filter fabric – but that product is no longer in-stock online.) Time will tell how long the plastic material will last due to (in this application, limited) sunlight exposure. Tip: Follow the online instructions on how to trim the product for the 3-inch overlap, but Don’t use tin snips – use your best garden pruners to get crisp, defined, cuts.

Very good if you install them correctly
Installed a total of 58 of these to cover my gutters on one story ranch house. These can hold up really great if you notch them at one end to help support the next end. I have included pics to help show this. I notched each one aprox 1-1.25" to overlap the screens the same distance to help prevent any gaps in between the screens. I am at a loss as to why they don't make them this way from the factory. I had originally put up about 20 several years ago to see how they held up WITHOUT notching them as I didn't think about doing that. They did ok but did bend down and eventually collapsed etc. as they had no support at the ends. I have had the new ones up for a month in several storms and in direct sunlight with hot temperatures. These are the non-screen type (no fine mesh fiber underneath) and no additional mounting hardware besides the screens themselves. Have taken heavy rain and a bunch of leaves falling on them so far have slid right off. The stickers are hard to get off, impossible if they are not warm. If warm to hot, you can carefully peal most of it off. And you have to mount these stickers up so if you don't remove them you see the large stickers from the street very easily. One big con.

I liked them enough that this is my second set
This is my second set of these screens. The first was wiped out by large fierce hail after quite a few years of use, but I liked them enough to buy them again. The first set had the fiberglass screens covering them. I need the screen cover because of an abundance of pine needles from my trees. I used my own modification of the screens added to the basic plastic cover part. I covered it with aluminum wire screen attached by clear caulk at the leading and trailing edge. It gives me less of a place at the leading edge to trap some of the leaves and pine needles than the way the factory does it and I hope the screen wire stays in place better than the fiberglass. If they ever redesign this part, I'd recommend that the top of the leading edge be flush with the rest, I think that would be an even better part, but it is a good part as is. I haven't found any cover that doesn't have some wash over.

These worked great, and went on better than the more expensive ones we bought at another big box store. Hopefully they'll last as long as the other ones. This was a re-purchase, since we didn't buy enough on our initial purchase. Very satisfied.

          Worthless in the winter!
Water will freeze on top of guard because the mesh and won’t let all the water go into the gutter. Ice then builds up and over the roof. These are worthless in the winter !!.

With a large pair of pliers it was easy to snap the gutter guards in place. They look great and time will tell how they function! I'm very optimistic!! I just installed them two weeks ago.
