Excellent window easy to install.

Nice window, easy to install with the flange (new construction window). This was a replacement window but I had to remove the old frame because it had rot. Windows work well and there is a noticeable improvement over the old Rivco's I replaced. I understand you can remove the flange and install as a replacement but I'm not sure how that would work. This is a big window and fairly heavy, really a two person job to install and I won't want to handle it on a ladder.

Andersen 400 series are an excellent choice. They are easy to install and look great for many years. They seal up nice and tight against the weather.

I replaced five old windows from 1970 in my house and the rough opening was exactlythe same. The windows slid right into the opening,we nailed sealed and Trimmed withPVC trim boards. They look great and next year I will install more.

Excellent quality windows!

Windows are good quality, nailing flange is pvc and is attached but not integrated with the frame. Grilled have to be ordered separately and screens have to be purchased separately making it clumsy and more expensive than other comparable windows.

Both windows that I recently purchased have some type of clue mark on each window. I would like to be contacted by someone as I have purchased 11 windows over the past two years and the last two that I purchased are marked. This was not noticed until the windows were put in and the clear window paper was removed.

We love these windows. They are easy to install and air tight.

We purchased three of these off the shelf, same SKU, labels, product number - everything. One of the three had a different sized internal frame and sash. Didnt notice until it was installed. HD offered to replace, but it was already sealed. The problem was Andersen - a factory issue. Of course, Andersen wont talk to you - they send you to HD. So be careful if you buy these - make sure they are exactly the same BEFORE installation.

Had to match existing for a renovation/alteration, these newer 400 series were on par with what was there. The Andersen's are a good value and an value leader, only knock was they did not come with any screens which prevented me from giving them five stars.
