Customer Reviews for Arrow 3/16 in. x 1/8in. Aluminum Rivets (50-Pack)

Perhaps half of the Arrow rivets I purchased broke off above the target break point, leaving a 3/4" piece of the mandrel attached to the rivet. This required me to grind off the mandrel and then dig the broken piece out of the rivet gun. I used all 50 of the Arrow rivets ($7.27/50 pcs) and then went and bought a pack of 100 pcs (at HF for $5.99) and not a single HF rivet snapped off (didn't use all 100). I wondered if it was my gun, but none of the HF rivets broke, so the gun was fine.

3 out of 4 packages of these have at half of the pack that snaps off too high. Tried two different hydraulic rivet guns thinking the gun was bad. One whole pack went off without a problem. Used a different brand stainless rivet and those all went in well also. Wasted too much time filing down the bad rivets.

These rivets did the job. Had no issues. Would recommend. I used an Arrow rivet gun to fasten this plate.

I used these aluminum rivets to secure each section of my new gutters and down spouts. You just drill a 1/8 inch hole, insert and set the rivet with a riveting tool.

Good quality and consistent. Be sure not to depend on these for high strength! They are hollow aluminum rivets, so use them only for appropriate applications. That said, they are exactly right for blind riveting. I use them a lot.

I'm using these with an Arrow brand manual pop rivet tool. I was surprised at how poorly the whole system works. The tool does not consistently grab the the mandrel so, you often have to make several tries to get the tool to grab the mandrel correctly for the rivet to seat and for the mandrel to come free of the rivet. Several of the rivets had mandrels break off 1/4 inch or more proud of the rivet head. My Arrow riveting tool is not that old - used for 20 or 30 rivets. I wasn't expecting to have such trouble.

I used these rivets for an automotive application and they were the perfect faster for the job.

They got the job done. I don’t rivet very often, so I was thankful that they worked out well and was easy to do.

I used about 20 pop rivets on a trailer project and they all worked great with none of them pulling through or not tightening up.

Used these rivets on two projects, a snow shovel to attach the wear strip and to repair a cell phone carry case. Other than a hard squeeze which was more my rivet gun these Arrow rivets worked great.
