I love this fan! Our hot water heater ruptured and put 80 gallons of water on our finished basement floor. We vacuumed up as much water as we could and then I bought this fan and it has run for 5 days and did an outstanding job of drying our floor. It has a 25 foot power card which is also very nice.

This fan does a great job of moving air. I'm only giving it 3 stars because after a few hours of use, it developed a mild squealing noise. I'm not sure if it would hold up to more continual use.

This blower is bigger and more powerful than I expected. Maximum air volume is 2820 cfm which can blow the edges up on a carpet. I needed a good blower because I left the lawn hoses next to the house’s 100+ year old fieldstone foundation, which wouldn’t be a problem if I hadn’t forgotten to turn off the lawn timer. The hoses ran for 2 hours next to the foundation. Luckily it only resulted in minor flooding, but I had to take up a floated (that’s a pun I suppose), carpeted floor to get to all the puddles. After moping all the water up, I then used this blower to dry everything out and it worked well. I appreciated the 25’ chord length as well as the handle which doubles as cord storage. Regarding noise, low (2.8 amps) sounds like a window fan and the high (4.5 amps) setting is noisy although I expected that from a 1/2 HP motor. (I listed the amps incase others are considering stacking 4 units or running multiple shop vacs on the same circuit breaker). The 3 directional positions (0 degrees, 45 degrees, 90 degrees) come in handy too.
Pretty sturdy tool so overall I’m pleased with it.

This is the most powerful blower for it's size that I have ever used. It uses minimal AMPS yet the VP 50 ft. 1/2 HP motor delivers a very, very powerful airflow. I really like that is has three different angles that range from 45 to 95 degrees so that I can point it wherever I need to. It is lightweight and compact and I can store it anywhere I need to. This is a great blower.
This machine does a fantastic job for sure. I worry a lot less now about my garage floor being wet.

i built in my breeze way with screen ends and made a family room, but when it gets cold outside and then warms up, the concrete floor that i painted sweats terribly and very slippery. So i bought this 1/2 horse power floor blower to see if it help keep it dry, and man dose it work great tons of power and 2 speeds, and a extra long cord and it keeps the floor dry. i use it all the time in the spring and fall when temps change. the fan is made with great quality. excellent buy for the money.

Water leaks into my basement pretty much every time it rains, and for a while, I've been pointing floor fans at the worst places to help them dry quicker. I started using this air mover instead, and it's a huge improvement. Obviously it hasn't fixed the problem, but it moves a lot of air and it moves it fast. It's also nice that the angle can be adjusted, which makes it great for ventilation in general.

This fan moves a lot of air for its size. While not much bigger than a box fan, it moves multiple amounts of air. Giving the amount of air it moves, I was expecting a lot of background noise but I haven't found it bad at all. I bought the fan to use as an air cleaner for my woodshop. I plan to attach a couple of filters to the exhaust port and think it will do a great job of circulating the air and pulling out all the fine dust.
Anyone who has experienced a flooded basement due to heavy rains or a broken water heater knows just how big a problem it is to get everything dried out quickly. Excess moisture can quickly turn to issues with mold and mildew, which in turn lead to expensive repairs/replacements and health concerns.
This ½ hp air mover goes a long way in solving those problems. Light weight and easy to move around, the fan directs a high volume of air along the floor to maximize evaporation. Please note, although the motor is encased against moisture, the air mover is not submersible. Box or standing fans just can’t compare for this type of high moisture situation.
