Great air mover for the price. A little noisy but to be expected for a low hp. I have two, and one was running for three days nonstop and still going strong .

This is a very good air mover to help dry any damp surface. It is very light and easy to carry around and has three important features. The first is that it has three speeds, low medium, and high; second it can move air in three positions: horizontal, 45 degree angle, and 90 degree angle; third it can be daisy chained due to two additional outlets for power and it is also protected by a circuit breaker reset button. The housing is roto molded that is impact resistant that is very durable and a nice deep blue color. It has a 10 foot cord that can be stored around the handle. This is a great size for home owner use and can also be used as just a fan for cooling. This is an excellent around product with many uses.

I had considered buying a larger air mover a few months back after I had issues wiht some flooding in my basement but never made the purchase, this unit was a great alternative. I ended up dealing with some minor flooding right after I received the item. I was quite impressed with the amount of air that it moved and ho quickly it dried the basement floor. The unit was not overly loud and we could not hear it upstairs while it was running. This would be great to circulate air while stianing wood or even after painting a room to help bring in fresh air. storage of the unit was easy and does not take up much room. overall the blower has a lot of potential uses

Less effort then using a squeegee. I've used this a couple times this year drying garage floor, once when I left it open and the other after a very hard rain, no complaints. It does move a bit of air for its size. The ten foot power cord eliminates the need for extension cord in most cases. I also like it can be pointed up (about 45 degrees) to dry paint quicker. The weight is a little than a gallon of paint.

This is the second one of these blowers that I have (first one was another brand). Everyone should own one of these! As a contractor I use it for - ventilation / dust control, drying water damaged buildings, helping drywall compound set and for paint to dry evenly. My wife really likes it for drying a freshly mopped floor and when she uses the upholstery cleaner on the sofa really accelerates drying time.

Having seen these in use qt the beach many times for drying out the hallway carpets, I decided I would like to have one for our garage. The garage has no floor drains and in the winter when we get snow when the cars are out, it melts once the cars are in the garage and leaves us nice puddles to clean up. I use absorbent barriers that do a good job but then they need to dry out to be functional again. This fan/air mover/blower will speed up the evaporation process for us in that situation for sure. (As well as any other situation that needs dried out) It has three speeds and is still relatively quiet on the fastest speed. The 1/4 HP 900 cfm motor will move a lot of air and not use much electricity at all.(Only 2.1 Amps on high). It has 115 amp electrical outlets on its side for plugging in other items or daisy chaining several blowers if needed. They can also be stacked into a tower type blower. It very light weight, seems well made and should be super easy to use even on hard to reach spaces.

I am very impressed with this fan for a variety of reasons. I use fans often for work and on home projects, they speed up projects that have drying time and blow dust away from work areas. I have been a big fan of the "carpet dryer" type that go by different names and have a much bigger much more powerful one that I use regularly. However now that I have this VP-20 I will use my old one a lot less. When it arrived I was surprised at how small it was and skeptical at the 1/5HP motor, but with three speeds and the top being what I consider "adequate" for smaller spaces it puts out enough air to move dust away and when close to wet areas will dry them in a reasonable amount of time. Because it is such a small fan I can keep it in my truck toolbox permanently, which is a big plus for me. Being able to daisy-chain them by plugging into the provided outlets on the fan is another plus, if you need to buy another or use fans you already have for larger output (i.e. a water leak) you have that option. All in all a great personal fan for small areas with the ability to add-on, highly portable and great for anyone who does service-type work for a living. If you are looking for a huge industrial fan to blow the pants off of you this is not it, however if you need a small but reasonably-powerful portable unit that puts box fans to shame and is versatile this is definitely what you need.
