Customer Reviews for BEHR 1 gal. #RP-17 Sundance Flat Multi-Surface Exterior Roof Paint

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I painted my roof with this product. I only painted the roof facing the street after using Behr masonry paint on my brick home. We got a hail storm later that year. The paint protected the roof! That was good and bad because insurance only covered the portion of the roof that wasn't painted!

The paint required TWO 5 gallon buckets to cover my 2,000 sq.feet of roofing,. when the label stated that 5 gallons would cover 2,2000 sq. ft. The primer and sealer required FOUR 5 gallon buckets. Expensive, but if it holds, it should prolong the life of the roof by several years. I'm satisfied.

works great, beware starts out pink and turns red after a week. great coverage, super sticky, it rained one time with hail 15 minutes later, they paint held up.

The paint is easy to apply but you need 4 times more than suggested by the site if you roll it in, not spray. After one winter, we will have to go with another color/brand because the roof ended up a light blue, like a baby blue color, not what we expected more like grey blue. Of course, it could be because we live in MN with cold snowy winters. The paint itself is holding well so far, it seems.

Works amazing!!! However, make sure you have a paint sprayer, I first tried rolling it on and the quickly turn into a no go. the paint wasn't getting into all the cracks and seams between the tiles, Then I hooked up my sprayer and boom it went on beautifully. Great product!!!

looks good but coverage was way off

The product it is good, shipping is good, color match the one shown online, but the coverage it is not what is says. It says "Covers roughly 450 sq. ft. per gallon"; I used one gallon in a smooth metal surface, one thin layer, and only covered 288 sq. ft. I have seen reviews from some users having the same problem.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this to paint my coops roof. I purchased just 1 gallon and well I dang near used 3. Then we was hit with a semi bad storm and my roof blew away with my chickens

Turned out just like people are saying on YouTube.
