Hi Jo, thank you for your review. I'm sorry to hear that the finish was not as glossy as expected. The 1-Part Epoxy will have a satin finish. For extra sheen and protection, I suggest the Wet Look Sealer on top of it. Customer satisfaction is important to us, and we appreciate your feedback. Please reach out to us directly if you need further assistance, our customer care team is happy to help you! -Giovanna Behr

Hello Jo,
Thanks for taking the time to review our Satin Interior/Exterior Concrete and Garage Floor Paint. I’m sorry to hear it didn’t meet your sheen expectations. I can assure you it’s not the experience we want any of our customers to have. This product has a durable satin finish as described on the label; however, if you’d like more shine, I recommend top-coating with a product like the Behr Wet-Look Sealer. For further assistance, please feel free to reach out directly to our customer care team. Best, Roxana N. Behr

Hi floor,

Thank you for your review, and I am sorry to hear the color came out much lighter than the color chip. Sometimes colors can appear differently based on the lighting and their surroundings. Because of this, it's always best to sample out the colors first on the project. To help with this, please reach out to us directly; we'd love to help in any way we can. -Edith Behr

I don't dare open this Paint Can. On the side of the box it Reads: PLEASE HANDLE WITH CARE - FRAGILE.... but what does the warehouse or FedEx care. $$$

      Poor Performance, Instructions Precisely Followed
Really disappointed with this product. Behr is the paint brand that I normally default to when it comes to painting interior walls. When the desire to paint the garage floor, Behr is what I resorted to, sadly. I followed the instructions precisely and waiting a week until walking on it as well as 2 weeks until putting the car in the garage and the paint still peeled. Disappointed and going to consider a different paint company for any upcoming paint project

      Hello HomeImprovementFocused42,
Thanks for taking the time to review our Satin Interior/Exterior Concrete and Garage Floor Paint. I'm sorry to hear your garage floor is peeling after two weeks of driving exposure. I can assure you this isn't the experience we want any of our customers to have. To fix, I recommend removing the loose coating, etching bare concrete, cleaning, priming, and touching-up or re-coating as needed uniformity. For further assistance, please feel free to reach out directly to our customer care team. Best, Roxana N. Behr

We read all the reviews and did all of our due dilligence before purchasing this product to paint an original poured concrete patio in our backyard. Because the concrete needed to be patched, we were looking for something with a color and tint to cover the patching. We opened the product, mixed it well did a test by applying to some leftover pavers. Unfortunately, the product has no color to it at all. It's a milky consistency, but it applies much more like a stain and dries clear with no color change at all. The coverage was good, but it's not the product we were hoping for. I'm not sure if the product we received just was just untinted, but it will not work for the project we intended. This should be labeled as a stain, not a paint.

Hi BeckyS, thank you for your review. I'm sorry to hear that the product turned out milky and had no color. Unfortunately, it does sound like the product you received was not tinted. The product should not be clear or milky and should look like regular paint. Please reach out to us directly so that we can get more details about your project and assist. Have a great day! -Giovanna Behr

Items were as described. Items arrived promptly. The paint went on well. We used it on the cellar way to the basement - side walls, steps and landing. Then we used it on a stone retaining wall next to the cellar way. We did find that the paint was a bit slippery on a slight slope during a light rain. I needed to get another gallon from Home Depot. I got "stuff" to mix in that will add traction/grit to the sloping walkway. I will also put a light coat of the traction added paint on the basement steps. Unfortunately, the rain and constant humidity coupled with 90 plus degree weather, won't allow me to do this next step. As soon as the weather breaks and is good for drying, I will do this top-coat with the traction additive. Friends and family all like the deep brick red color. The paint went on easily and covered well.

There are a lot of options to “changing” the garage floor color. I wanted to cover the floor so it looked nice and the snow melt would be easy to get out. I did some research and also asked the supervisor at Home Depot about the different options. I got the Behr Silver Gray Self-Priming 1-Part Epoxy Satin Interior/Exterior Concrete and Garage Floor Paint. I power washed the floor with simple green and let it dry. The epoxy paint went on really easy. The viscosity is thin like a PVA primer. I rolled it on and it covered all the previous stains. It took about 1 ½ gals to do a small 2 car garage. I’m impressed with the coverage and how easy it was to roll on. The label says you can have multiple coats. It only took me 20 minutes to roll the garage floor. Yes I moved stuff out before starting the clock. I’m sold.

Poor quality. I followed all directions while painting garage floor including not parking cars for 7 days. Upon first day of parking, the paint started peeling. This happened to both garages. I hope Home Depot and the vendor will refund my money.

        Hi Kal,

Thank you for your review. I'm sorry to hear that the paint peeled once you parked your cars back in both garages! To fix the finish, I recommend sanding the spots that peeled to remove the loose paint, spot etching and priming the bare concrete, then touching up with more paint. For further assistance with your project, please feel free to reach out to us directly. We hope to hear from you soon! - Sara Behr

Versatile and quality paint. I expect this to last much longer than other concrete paint. Very pleased with the finished products. I used this paint for two applications - a stucco wall and a concrete patio. On the wall, this paint adhered and covered well. I had to use a large nap roller, but the paint went up easily and only required a few touch ups. With regards to the patio, I had power washed it and quite a bit of the previous paint came off. I used the left over paint from the wall and it did a great job. The finish looks richer than the previous concrete paint. One thing to note is to keep the lid on the paint can. I put a large amount in my first pan and it took a little long for me to get my pattern down. By the time I returned to the can, a slight film had formed. The air will thicken the paint in the can slightly during use. Not major, just a friendly hint. Also, the instructions tell you to prime previously uncovered concrete. The wall was not primed nor previously painted. In that form, the concrete did absorb a fair amount of the paint. The patio was mostly covered with previous paint and I was able to get much more coverage. Overall, very pleased with the results.

I have to paint about 900 SF of concrete deck and sidewalk across the back of my home and this was my choice of paint. The color "Tan" matches the wood painted deck so it blends nicely. Very easy to apply, just clean the surface well and paint away. This epoxy base paint has proven to work well for me in my garage so I stuck with what I know works. I like the way it covers but remember that it will take a bit longer to dry.

Got this recently and tried on part of the garage. So far so good. Before i do it on the entire garage floor, i usually try it on partial area. The good part is that it is simple and easy to apply. No primer, not too much of prep work to do. Next, have to see how to stands up to frequent car movements, heat of Atlanta and more. Will keep this updated.

This was the perfect solution for us to touch up different places on our driveway, porch and patio at our home in Florida. It works great and doesn’t peel if you follow the simple directions for use. I will be painting the concrete floor of our laundry/storage room with this same paint here also. I will also be buying the same paint in a tan color for the areas that need it on the same drive/porch/patio. It looks great and goes on easily. I used a foam brush for the squares and a roller for the edge of the porch and for the steps to the porch. It has built-in UV protection so that makes it perfect for drives and patios to prevent sun fading. Clean-up was easy also with soap and water. We love it and recommend it.

We had to paint the steps 1/2 at a time. We use those stairs multiple times per day, including our big dogs. I'm anxious to see it after the other half is done (See photo). It spreads much easier than I expected. We painted these steps about 15 years ago and we remember it being much thicker. If it is or not, it spreads easily. In spite of the masking tape, I did manage to get paint on the wall and a nearby TV stand. I got to them within about 2 minutes and it all wiped off with very little trouble. The color is a perfect match to the display we saw on the computer's screen. Usually there is a difference based upon the monitor's light setting or photo lighting. We took the can to Home Depot and had them add a package of the sand (Grip additive) so they would be safer to go up and down the stairs. We've got a lot of confidence that it will last several years like our last job did. We really should have repainted years ago. I think we'll be repainting the floor of the garage with this paint too, if we have enough left over. There is really no odor to complain about. It smells like paint but the scent was gone within minutes. That was huge thumbs up for us. For floor paint, I am really impressed. This is coming from a guy that hates painting. I definitely recommend you try this paint and I imagine you will be as impressed as we are. Really good stuff

I painted my garage floor with the Behr Premium self priming 1 part epoxy interior/exterior concrete and garage floor paint. I was tired of the same old grey colors and was happy to see this came in a nice lighter Tan color. The recommended preparation for painting can be time consuming but make the paint adhere and last longer. I used a 6" sponge type roller as it was easy to squeeze the paint into the corners and rough surface and yet roll on the flat areas with a minimum brush use. The paint went on very easily on the flat surfaces and filled in on the rough surface areas making a uniform finish. I also used it on my stairs where it will get high traffic and in another section of the garage where the car drives. The paint covered well in all areas and dried to the touch in an hour or less in the hot Florida sun. If I need to re-coat a section I can do it after 4 hours. The paint looks great and best of all it is water base making clean up a breeze.

This paint was easy to apply and beautiful. Behr is the best paint I've ever used and the only paint that I will buy because of the quality and long lasting. I'm verry pleased and will buy it again, again, and again when needed.
