This playset is a job to put together (invite lots of family and friends) as it has many pieces. Worth it in the end. Plan for the whole weekend, and start early...stay organized with screws/nuts/bolts, etc. Everything is well-marked, but organization is key. Love it.

CHEAP WOOD. Thin. Dry. Splitting. Peeling. I will be shocked if this $1,400 set lasts a year. I am so angry that I spent $1,400 on what should have been a $400 set.

So far so good. We have had it for about a month. My husband set this up over a few afternoons. I helped as much as I could by sorting what pieces came next. My son loves it and the neighborhood kids have all been playing on it. My 3 year old loves to sit on the hammock and climb the rock wall. I loved this because of the staircase. Made me feel better about him running up and down them.

We were looking at different swingsets to get and fell in love with this one due to the steps. We have a 3yr old and 1yr old and knew our 1 yr old would not be able to climb the rock wall and ladder like our 3yr old would but would still want to play and we didn't want him to get left out. The swing set is beautiful and we LOVE the steps! We purchased the gliding swing to replace the handle bars since our kids are a little small for it. There was an issue with shipping causing us to go pick the package up at the warehouse in order for us to get it put together before the party. It took us one full day and 2 nights after work to put this together. It's very helpful to sort all the pieces out across the lawn by the Letter so it's easy locating the pieces when time to build them.

We've had this playset about 3 weeks and so far, we're happy with it. The instructions were easy to follow and assembly went smoothly. I was kind of worried at first in regards to how long it would take to assemble from reading some of the reviews. I enlisted the help of 2 co-workers and my dad to come help assemble the playset on a Saturday morning and we were able to fully assemble the playset by 10pm the same day. Including myself, we had 3 engineers working on this which really helped move it along. Reading the plans and sorting the hardware was a breeze because we deal with it all day at work. I suggest anyone wanting to assemble this themselves have at least 4 people total to assemble. Here's why. I had 2 people do nothing but sort out all the wooden pieces and another sort all the hardware so they can easily be tracked down. These 2 same people would follow 1 step ahead of me in the manual and pick out all the parts and hardware needed for my next step. This allowed me and a helper do nothing but assemble without having to stop and look for parts (this wasted a lot of time). Once I finished a step in the instruction manual, the parts and hardware for the next step would be neatly stacked next to me ready to go. This sped up the process many folds and allowed us to complete the assembly within 12 hours. The next day, I spent another 4 hours with 1 helper laying out the boarder and all 4000 pounds of rubber mulch. By noon time the of day 2, my son was enjoying his new playset with mom and auntie. The structure of the playset is very sturdy once it's completely assembled. We had 3 full grown adults in the over deck playing games on our phones while hiding from a short summer rain while we were assembling it. We had 2 adults on both of the swings at the same time with no issues. All the parts fit together nicely without any major issues. Oh, and shipping was very fast. We got ours about a week after we placed our order.

I have this set for about 4 months now. Paid money to get it assembled as well. It came with some missing parts (securing rails around the platform that goes on the slide). After about 4 months , this happened (see picture attached). This is NJ, and winter has not even started! The wooden panel from the canopy roof is coming off. The wooden panels on the platform that you step on when doing the mountain climbing, are loose and flimsy. The wood quality is cheap and I am sure it will not last me more than next fall. This was one of the most expensive play sets I have seen and I regret every penny spent on it. My kids are already complaining that it's going to fall apart! My contractor has asked us to purchase and spray a wooden sealant to let it survive the winter. I could have purchased a cheaper playset from your competition company that would have lasted longer enough to be passed on to others (my friends have their for over 8 years and they are the second owners). The reason the pictures are taken at night is because my kids just told me about the swing set and I am extremely upset and disappointed. DO NOT PURCHASE

We purchased this playset after looking at many options online. My father and I put it together in a couple of days. We found the instructions to be decent and not too confusing. It is tedious but not too difficult to assemble. You would be amazed at how many pieces of wood and hardware this set comes in. The set seemed larger in the pics and is not too tall but should be fine for the kids. The hanging wooden swing is also smaller than I pictured. It is only suitable for a small kid or two. It is delivered in 4 boxes. Scheduling delivery with the freight company was easy. I sorted everything first. It would have sped things along if I had pre sorted wood and hardware pieces for each step, it was like a scavenger hunt each time we turned the page. I had one piece that came split. I called to get a replacement and they sent it no problem. It did take a couple of weeks to receive. I was able to finish set with the split piece as it was a hidden support piece. Overall the set is decent quality for the money but does not compare in quality to other sets out there that cost more. The wood is a somewhat brittle and can crack easy if you over tighten the screws. The thickness of the wood is a little less than other sets. As an adult I tread carefully when walking on the upper surface hearing creaking while I walk. I think it will hold the kids with no problem. The neighbors have a set that costs about 3 times as much and I can run up the steps no problem. The slide came in parts that you put together. Its a little bouncy for that reason and I have already considered replacing it with a one piece plastic slide. One major negative is the swings seem a bit close to each other and to the sides and i worry there could be a collision. I have thought about replacing the beam with a longer one or switching out the 3 swings for 2. It comes with a hanging bar and 2 swings. I bought a glider and baby swing to pair with one of the standard swings for now. I do like the fact that there were so many options for the sets and you can find one that meets your needs. I didn't want one with the monkey bars, this one seemed safe. After I decided in this set I had my daughter look at the options and she chose the same one. She loves the hammock. Over all satisfied with the purchase based on the price. Its only been up a few months so time will tell how long it holds up. I have not yet sealed the set and plan on doing it soon once the weather cools a bit.

I purchased this for my sons birthday ,i decided to buy it since it said deliver on 5/31 and his party would be today the first . Has not showed up!! I called home depo an they cant even tell me where it is. All they said was i have to wait 5 days and they will give the money back.. leaving me without a playground set for his bday. They are no help in fact they said its like that on everything we deliver .

The swing set looks really nice as shown in the picture but the quality is horrible it’s not a very sturdy swing set & a lot of the wood pieces were split for the price it’s really not worth it

End product was really nice. Took my dad and I about 15 hours together plus me alone for another 10 to put this together. Instructions would be great in some areas and then completely miss screws/t nuts in other areas. You of course don’t notice until you are 10 steps ahead and have to go back and put them in. A lot, and I mean a lot of the wood split as it was super dry so make sure you put pilot holes in every single spot. The girls love it so can’t complain too much. Just for 2k I’d expect a little more quality

The shipping date Home Depot gives you is wrong. It takes about 2 weeks to come. The size is much smaller than shown in photos. Not for children over 7 for sure. The assembly is a nightmare even for 3 people to put together. The slide isn’t in one piece and you have to assemble it so it’s not a good slide. When you walk across the wooden boards you can see some movement depending on weight

Ordered place set on dec 6 with a delivery date of the 15th , it’s the 21st still no playset. After mutable emails to shipping company with no response finally got someone on the phone , the delivery date the shipping company gave was the 22 , but that’s to there warehouse not to the door . It was shipped with fragile pak witch from what I have learned is a very bad company . Wouldn’t recommend buying this product if you need it in certain amount of time or want good customer service

Took forever to assemble. Wood pieces very thin. One snapped when we stepped on it during construction. When we finally got it up, it was lopsided and the the main pieces had pre drilled holes to line up where they should go. The set creaks and sways back and forth when my 2 year old swings on it. Sadly I don’t think this will last and we are afraid to have more than one child on it. I can’t believe this passes any kind of inspection. Waste of money. Very disappointed.

I’ll start off with same as everyone else; patience, read through any instructions, have basic knowledge of squared, plumbed and level, and have a helping hand if possible. Unpacking this monster takes about 3 hours. Lay everything out in order. Keep extra ziploc bags for hardware. Be sure to read thoroughly or listen to app instructions prior to actually doing the step. The wood is fragile but once fully assembled it is sturdy enough for me to go on (5’10”, 230lb). It took me two solid days and evenings to put together by myself. My children love playing on this. The hammock did dry rot and break about two weeks ago but I’ll be building something else in place of it. It’s certainly worth the purchase.

This swing set is so cute! Nice good size for little kids-not too big over overwhelming. Only con is AWFUL to set up. There is millions of little peices. Took my husband and 3 friends about 10-12 hours to complete. Next time i would pay someone to build. But swingset is amazing!

We used this swing set for one summer. (2 and 4 year old). This is just barely a year old and the wood creaks like crazy. I feel like the wood is going to give way at any moment. If I do not feel comfortable walking/climbing on something, I would not let me kids on it. Unfortunately this product didn't last and my small children can no longer play on it. It's like they found the cheapest wood they could find. I should have sent it back before we assembled it. Shame on me for completing the build. Seriously, save your time and buy a different brand.

The Swingset is an excellent value , the kids really enjoy it.

We put this together ourselves and there were so many parta it's insane. We expected to put some work into but dang. I'm mostly disappointed at the quality of the wood. I step on it and the wood gives in numerous places. It has endured one summer and one winter with kids younger than 5 and I fear when the big cousins come over that they will fall through :/ We are going to have to reinforce with stronger wood this summer for sure.

I purchased this about a month ago and being a single mom of two with having one child disabled this is amazing for them both. My disabled child is using her physical abilities much better and loving all the sensory fun attached to this item. It is so much fun to watch them love this swing set

We bought this swing set for a gift to be given from Santa and my two daughters can’t get enough! The stairs are so convenient and much safer than any ladder for my 1 year old. I don’t feel so over cautious when she’s wanting to go out and play. The little bench swing is also a better option for a toddler. Don’t have to worry about them falling out and she can do it on her own! My 7 year old also has a blast on it. So happy with this choice of swing set.

I have built several Rainbow Systems style playsets and have even designed and built a few larger sets using 4x6 cedar posts and 5/4 cedar boards. This one is easily the lightest weight and most overly complex set I have seen so far. The lumber is very lightweight and I found in assembly that many of the screws provided were too short to hold in the wood. There are also a few elements that I consider genuinely dangerous. For example, a ledger board is used to support all of the floors along the perimeter of the playset. In these playsets, the ledger boards are 1 inch by 1 inch and they are held in place against the rim joists with , at most, 4 1.5 inch #8 deck screws. I'm sorry, but that is not nearly enough. If one of these dozen or so ledger boards fail, somebody is going to get hurt. I realize that the set is for children, but some children can weight quite a bit. To anyone building this set, I highly recommend that you drill additional holes in most of these ledger boards and through-bolt thenm with 1/4 inch carraige bolts. I have more to say but Home Depot limits these reviews to 500 characters.

The great grandkids are enjoying it so much.

We ordered this for our youngest for Christmas. It took me and my husband 16 hrs to put it together. He used to be a carpenter so that helped. Organizing the hardware and boards also made assembly quick. Only 1 piece was missing (a bracket). The materials are good; we did add support to the canopied floor to ensure longer life. My husband and I were on it before that just fine during assembly. The stairs could use another stringer in the middle for added support. Other than that it's great

It was a little daunting at first but if you take the time to organize all of your parts and wood items in alphabetical in numerical order it makes it so much easier. This was extremely well engineered there are only three or four items that were different than the instructions but it was fairly easy to figure it out. I would highly recommend this to anybody who is looking to buy a playset for their children.

It was a family project to build. My grandson was construction "boss" (the set was for his daughters). His wife was "part sorter", creating piles of parts for each page of the build. Assembly took parts of 4-days to complete and on-and-off a half dozen helpers. My great granddaughters love it.

Great set. Only complaint is some warped pieces but we made it work. I do wish the slide was 1 solid piece instead of 4 side pieces and just a thick piece of plastic between it. I look at needing to get a solid slide in the near future. The kids (8&4) love it. My kids are quite tall for their age so I do wish the safety rails were a bit taller. Would definitely recommend this product.
