Owning this saw has been an absolute nightmare. It worked good for one job. After that, the plastic wheel that adjusts the blade height became stripped because it was so hard to turn.Since then it’s become impossible to adjust the height even with a wrench. Ive made many adjustments over the years to try and help the cheap plastic gears do their job. Ive lost more money and wasted more time trying to adjust the height, than the total value of the saw. Even a $100 ryobi works better than this.

The only assembly required is the gravity rise stand. Carefully following the assembly instruction, I had no problems with the finished project. The table saw easily sets upon the stand and aligns with the mounting holes. This stand allows you to roll the saw into the storage location as well as the work position when in the standing position. I'm totally impressed with the on board storage for all accessories. All held securely in place allowing you to collapse the stand and easily roll the complete assembly into storage location. An excellent table saw for the hobbyists as well as the contractor. I'd definitely recommend purchasing this saw.

The Bosch 10 in. Corded Jobsite Table Saw with Gravity Rise Wheeled Stand is an outstanding portable woodworker's tool! Extremely well built, superb easily accessible safety features, well thought out storage features and a very effective, easy articulating integrated wheeled stand! The large and heavy unit came well boxed and provided great protection for all components. The major assembly time (1\2 hour) was the well engineered and solid gravity rise stand. Adding the saw and safety accessories (Blade Guard and Anti-Kick-Back Pawls attach to the quick connect Riving Knife) took less than 10 minutes. Checked the squareness of the fence to the table and blade...Perfect, no adjustments needed. The fence is durable extruded aluminum and locks in front first, then on the back side. Once locked in to your cut setting...It Doesn't Move!! The sliding front\back extruded aluminum rails extend the right table top out easily, allowing a full 25" of rip fence capacity. Now, Ready to make Sawdust! Went through over 150bf of shelving sheet goods and was Well Pleased at the power, ease, accuracy and edge finish of this Bosch 10" compact saw. Overall, it is a very stable platform through the cuts, with crosscut edges virtually as smooth as the rips! All safety features perform very well and the motor never seemed strained, even when we purposefully cut at fast feed rates! With a medium size shop vac (2.5" hose) attached to the 2.5" dust shroud port, I was able to capture 80-90% of the sawdust, keeping the work area relatively clean. Actually, the portability of this integrated table saw unit is equally impressive in performance as the saw unit itself! The articulating stand is Extremely Easy to collapse (for mobility) or extend (to make sawdust), with the saw being held as if on a HD dolly! The rip fence and miter gauge snap into either side of the saw base and stay put until needed. Keeping the safety attachments in place, the unit neatly stores 30" from a wall. If you remove the safety attachments (quick riving knife detachment function) and store separately, then the portable unit only takes up 24" of real-estate! Between great ergonomics, functional feature sets, solid build and excellent performance, the Bosch 10" Portable Table Saw System is not only a great jobsite tool, but a a DIY homeowners Dream!!

Only 10" of cutting length. Good for making small stuff

I have 4 of these saws used at commercial construction jobs and every motor has had to have new motor bearings replaced and all are difficult to raise the blade to the point of the bevel gears failing and needing replacing. Other features are good and precise. The saws age ranges from 4 to 10 years old and I'm writing this review in hopes that Bosch will fix these common problems. I have 40 plus years of experience and want to continue using Bosch. All other Bosch tools I own are great. No reply necessary. I hope this helps.

Excellent portable table saw. Easy to assemble.

Great saw, been using it as a shop saw and it rips and crosscuts almost as well as the 80lbs heavier "real shop saw" Adjustments are easy and rarely required. It's seen steady use for months now, at least 50 cuts a day, not one issue other then the knife needs occasional Adjustments. The safety features are well designed and it has the least vision blocking blade cover of and safety system I've used

I have almost every Bosch tool, and this saw is junk. The motor has gone twice, under almost no load. The repair facility said it was dusty underneath. It is a table saw. The stand is pretty good.

This is my second review for this product. this one at the 2+ year mark. The original stand that came with the saw was garbage and broke almost immediately. Since it was under warranty Bosch replaced it free of charge with a much better stand. I have not had any issues with the newer better stand since. Today I again experienced a failure. This time with part # 261095010 the "glide pad" on the fence. I only want one thing from my tools dependability. This one definitely does not have that.

If you are reading this you are likely familiar with online reviews and info on this saw. I received the saw today and completed all assembly tasks with no problems. HD had the best price and delivered via FedEx safe and sound in two days. Saw has solid feel, close tolerances, and smart design. Stand is perfect for the saw and assembed easily going by the instructions at relaxed pace. Test cuts a-ok, no concerns. A+ buying experience: time will reveal performance and durability.

I'm a journeyman carpenter and got this recently to use at our jobsites for trim and or framing. The extendable table is awesome and overall the saw is great I'm very happy with it. Ignore everyone and their negative comments. This thing is a nice! Oh and the stand is great also, big wheels for 4x4 capabilities lol

Bosch always make great stuff! Love the cart function.

The saw works great with the exception of the stowage for the safety guard. The fence operates smoothly as does the cross cut miter. I also like the anti kickback paws. The table expansion is also smooth. The antigravity stand is a nice feature making it easy for moving the saw around the site even when erected. The stand assembly instructions are well written with good illustrations, but it’s still cumbersome for an older person to assemble. The fence scale has a magnifying bubble making measurements much easier to see. And the scale is true. Overall well above average.

The saw was packaged securely, and all parts and pieces were in the package as expected. After assembly, I did check the adjustments and found everything correctly adjusted out of the box. The manual is clear about how to measure and perform the adjustments. Storage for the various detachable parts from the saw is well thought out and easy to use. The notes in the manual concerning the required specifications of replacement blades was appreciated. As noted buy others, assembly of the gravity-rise stand posed some challenges: some parts of the instructions were ambiguous and labels specified for some of the parts were missing. Patience and a little extra time checking the drawings got the job done. Delivery met expectations and I have not needed to contact customer service.

Wish the fence had a dial in adjustment.

After 10 years' use of the predecessor 4000 model, the saw/"gravity-rise" wheel stand has been a reliable and durable choice once Bosch kindly replaced the original inflatable tires and their inaccessible valves with solid wheels. I'm picky enough to have put a piece of PVC tubing on the cross brace between the wheels where I push with my foot to raise/lower the setup, and I glued some flexible plastic slider strips to the points where the frame rubs on step edges to prevent scratching of either steps or frame. I've used the setup to rebuild a pergola and deck using pressure-treated wood and synthetic composite decking, and the only minor issue was the clogging of the blade housing with melted residue from the decking that adhered to inside of the housing, blocking the exhaust port. I may have used the wrong Diablo blade, but live and learn. Sadly, after a few years' use the onboard stowage for the Safeguard blade guard no longer works because the the guard can no longer snap onto its stowing bracket after I had to adjust the Allen screws on the guard for wear of the bushings in the guard's locking mechanism. Without adjustment of those screws, the guard would no long fasten securely to the riving knife. If the stowing bracket were also adjustable it might help...but it's not. For some reason, Bosch doesn't show the setup with all pieces (rip fence, etc.) neatly stowed. But stowing of all bits and pieces can be done...at least, while it's new! But other than a perhaps wrong blade choice for composite decking and the inconvenience of having to cobble an attachment for the blade guard, I'm happy. I think Bosch made/makes a winner!

Second Bosch saw I’ve got. The old one is still killing it after 15 years just needed another for multiple site Crews.

This is one of my first shop tools, purchased when I was working on our home addition. It is powerful, easy to set up but most of all, I love the stand. It makes it so easy to move around the shop and to the job site. This is one tool I’d buy again, but thankfully it’s no where near the end of its life. I’m guessing my saw, which is identical to the current version is 15 years old. I thought I’d review it since I’m shopping for other tools and this popped up. It’s well worth the money.

Good luck putting the stand together! The instructions are absolutely HORRENDOUS! Once you get the wheel assemblies done, you are on your own. From that point on, think of it as a jigsaw puzzle. I have bought many tools from Bosch, but they really let everyone down with this one. If you aren't good at figuring thinks out without instructions, or you don't have a lot of extra time to mess with this stand, consider buying a different saw. I really mean that.

The stand is far too wobbly to be safe at a job site, let alone your garage. A little pinky finger nudges this things thing -- there's so much play in the connections and it only gets worse with vibration over time. The DeWalt saw has a far better stand for stability, which is what job sites need (not this gravity rise nonsense). The saving grace of this saw is that the table is a little larger and the fence is thick and strong, not bendy and cheap like DeWalt's.

This is a fantastic saw, everything I could want. Stand assembly was a bit of a pain, I'm pretty handy and it took about 30 minutes to put it together by myself. Otherwise a great all around saw.
